HOW TO GERMINATE FLAMBOYANT TREE SEEDS

Soak the flamboyant tree seeds that you will receive from us in water overnight to soften the hard seed coat. Prepare a well-draining potting mix with equal parts of peat moss, sand, and perlite. Sow the seeds 1 inch deep in the potting mix. Water the soil gently to avoid washing away the seeds and place the pot in a warm, bright spot with temperatures around 70-85°F (21-29°C). Keep the soil moist, but not soggy. Germination can take 1-3 months, so be patient and maintain a consistent temperature and moisture level.

CARE FOR FLAMBOYANT PLANTS AFTER GERMINATION

Flamboyant trees require full sun, so place them in a location with direct sunlight for at least 6-8 hours a day. Water the young plant regularly but avoid overwatering, which can lead to root rot. Allow the topsoil to dry out slightly before watering again. After the plant has established itself, fertilize it once a month during the growing season with a balanced fertilizer. Prune the tree in the early stages of growth to shape it into a single trunk. Later on, remove any dead or diseased branches and trim back any branches that are growing too close to each other. Once the plant has outgrown its pot, transplant it into a larger container or in the ground outside. Choose a location with well-draining soil and ample space for the tree to grow.

USES AND HEALTH BENEFITS OF FLAMBOYANT TREE

The Flamboyant Tree is primarily grown as an ornamental tree for its striking, red-orange flowers and attractive, fern-like leaves. It is often planted along streets and in parks and gardens. The bark, leaves, and seeds of the Flamboyant Tree have been used in traditional medicine to treat a range of health conditions, including fever, diarrhea, inflammation, and respiratory problems. The Flamboyant Tree contains high levels of antioxidants, which can help protect the body against oxidative stress and inflammation. The Flamboyant Tree has been used topically to treat wounds, cuts, and burns. The leaves are boiled and used as a poultice to treat skin infections and inflammation.
