HOW TO GROW MELOCOTON CASSABANANA FROM SEEDS

It is helpful to soak seeds first before sowing them. Put them in a bright, sunny location and plant them about an inch deep (2.5 cm). It wouldn't take long for them to germinate. After all danger of frost has passed, the plants can be moved outdoors in full sunlight. Indoors in areas outside of the hardiness zone, they can also be grown. Cassabananas is a single vine that can grow up to 50 feet in length. Almost any surface can be climbed by its tendrils with suction-cup-like discs. 

CARE FOR MELOCOTON CASSABANANA AFTER GERMINATION

While it will climb trees with ease, suffocating and killing the tree is a very real possibility. Ideally, you should let it climb very sturdy trellises or arbours. During the growing season, keep the plants moist. In order to fertilize them, you can use a balanced feed or compost once they get a bit more growth. It is actually a vine and can grow up to 50 feet in length, so make sure you have plenty of room.

Cassabananas are also known as Melao croa and Maracujina in Brazil and other parts of South America. The seeds of the fruit are used in traditional medicine in Brazil and Puerto Rico to treat fevers and sore throats. Drinking the liquid that results from steeping the pulp in water overnight. Cassiabananas are a good source of Vitamin C, B-complex vitamins, calcium, phosphorus and iron. Cassiabananas contain carotene, which gives the fruit its orange-hued flesh and is an important antioxidant.
