HOW TO GROW EARLY NANTES CARROTS FROM SEEDS

Carrots Early Nantes can be grown from seeds very easily. However, you should not transplant them, as they hate transplants. Instead, you should plant them right where they will be grown. Sow one centimeter deep, five to ten centimeters apart, preferably in rows. To keep the soil moist, water your plants frequently with shallow waterings. This is especially important during germination. The soil needs to be watered every one to three days to promote germination. Carrot Autumn needs to keep the soil moist without drowning it.

CARE AFTER GERMINATION

It is usually not necessary to take special care of carrots. To ensure that carrot roots don't fork, remove all stones from the soil. Mulching is recommended, but carrots don't usually need additional feeding. Leaf mold or compost is a great organic mulch that blocks light and prevents the tops from turning green. Water the soil during dry weather to prevent it from drying out. To preserve moisture and nutrients, weeds must be controlled. Soon we will be able to harvest the fresh carrots.
