The Paracress plants are not so common, so you might face difficulties while sourcing seeds. By the way, you are getting the seeds very easily from Garden Paradise Seeds, you will receive healthy 50 seeds. The Paracress plants grow best in warmer climates and prefer warmer weather to grow. They are frost-sensitive. So plan for growing paracress during the summer months. The paracress plants are grown easily from seeds. The seeds require direct sunlight to germinate, so don’t cover the seeds with soil after sowing. Just scatter the seeds over the ground and they will germinate and grow fine. Thin the seedlings to about 25 cm apart.

You have to care a little as the paracress plants are very strong and hardy plants. They don’t require much care. They require very fertile soil which is high in organic contents. If you have prepared the soil by adding lots of organic contents into it, then you don’t have to apply additional fertilizers. The plants don't need much water so avoid over-watering the plants and use mulch. Mulch will help to retain moisture into the soil and also help to get rid of weeds from your garden. The paracress is resistant to diseases and insects. So, you don’t have to think much about this. You can start harvesting the leaves when the plants are large enough.

As an herb paracress has a lot of health benefits. The annual, about 20 cm tall herb comes from Brazil. The vitamin-rich leaves are used in salads. In Brazil, the paracress is considered a medicinal plant, so the flowers and leaves are chewed in the case of toothache, which creates a feeling of numbness, hence the name toothache herb comes from. The sap is also used for insect bites. Growing the seeds indoors is possible all year round, growing outdoors from mid-May. So if you want to grow paracress it's not a big deal for you.
