HOW TO GROW FROM SEEDS HERB BASIL CINNAMON

Basil Cinnamon seeds can be sown after all danger of frost has passed. Start the seeds either indoors in late winter or directly in the garden in spring. A full sun location and rich, well-drained soil are ideal for growing cinnamon basil. Start indoors 6 to 8 weeks before the last frost date. The seeds will germinate in 5 to 10 days. Plant the seedlings into the garden or your best containers when they have two sets of true leaves. Spacing them 24 to 30 inches apart is ideal. It would help if you waited until spring has thoroughly warmed up the soil before direct-sowing. Soil should be covered about 1/4 inches away from the seeds.

CARE AFTER GERMINATION OF BASIL CINNAMON

Remember that basil needs rich, moist soil and enjoys hot weather. Plants should be mulched to retain moisture and should be watered heavily during periods of drought. Basil can be forced to grow sideways and into a bushy growth and full bloom by pinching the tip off the center shoot after it grows for six weeks. Whenever flower stalks appear, snip them off. The soil needs to be lightly moist but not soggy when growing Cinnamon basil plants.

WHAT IS BASIL CINNAMON?

Basil cinnamon is very easy to cultivate, delicious, and useful in the garden. There is something irresistible about that spicy-sweet scent, those bright red stems, and those pink blooms. In addition to being useful for diarrhea and constipation, basil is good for cough, headache, and warts. The cinnamon flavor makes it a favorite in Thai and Italian cuisines. It is highly recommended that you use the herb as a tea to reap the most significant benefit. Herbs are generally considered to be beneficial.
