HOW TO GROW FROM SEEDS BASIL GUSTOSA

Basil Gustosa is one of the easiest herbs to grow indoors. Starting seeds indoors is best between late February and mid-summer. Fill a 7, 5 cm pot with seed compost, firm down, and sow basil Gustosa seeds over the top. Only a few more seeds than needed will germinate, so plant just a few more. Wrap the plant in vermiculite, water gently, then pop it into a propagator. If you don't have one, don't worry. A clear, small freezer bag can be used to cover the pot, and an elastic band can be used to secure it. Germination usually takes between 10 days to 2 weeks at 15-18C.

CARE AFTER GERMINATION OF  BASIL GUSTOSA

Since the plants are easily growable, there is little need to worry about them. Plant basil gustosa outside after all frost danger has passed, choose a sunny, sheltered spot with well-drained soil, or grow plants in containers. Every time roots start showing through holes in the bottom of a pot, move it into a slightly bigger container to keep the plant going until the pot is 20cm in diameter. Prune the branches of your plants regularly to keep them bushy and productive, and remove any flowers that begin to appear. That's all you have to do.

WHAT IS BASIL GUSTOSA?

In addition to their use in cooking, the leaves of Basil Gustosa can also be consumed raw. Holy basil tastes spicy and bitter. A great source of vitamin A, vitamin C, manganese, iron, and vitamin K, basil possesses these compounds in abundance. It's also a good source of calcium, magnesium, and omega-3 fatty acids. Basil Gustosa isn't limited to internal use. Oil extracted from basil's leaves is used in treating infections, wounds, and cuts. Additionally, it is proven to have anti-acne properties. Overall, Basil Gustosa is very versatile in its use.
