HOW TO GROW AFRICAN MARIGOLD TALL FLOWER FROM SEEDS

The soil should have good drainage and full or partial sunlight for African marigolds. They can also be planted in containers. Before planting, you should remove grass and weeds from approximately six inches of soil. You could also add compost to improve the soil's nutrients. Scatter seeds over the garden after the last frost. Seeds can be planted indoors four to six weeks before the last frost of the season if you wish to start them earlier. When the temperature is between 15 and 25 degrees Celsius, seeds take one to two weeks to germinate.

CARE FOR AFRICAN MARIGOLD TALL AFTER GERMINATION

You can see African marigolds blooming during the summer and autumn because they can withstand heat and drought. It tolerates clay and dry soil, but prefers moist, well-draining soil. Regularly water the soil to keep it moist but not wet. Watch for puddles of water or squishy soil six hours after watering after rain. This indicates that the soil isn't draining, and that your flowers are at risk of drowning. During the summer and early fall, deadheading or removing a spent flower will prevent stem damage and extend blooming time.

USES AND BENEFITS OF AFRICAN MARIGOLD TALL

African marigolds can be used externally to treat sores, ulcers, eczema, conjunctivitis, rheumatism, and sore eyes. Boils, carbuncles, and earaches can be treated externally with a paste made from the leaves. In addition to being diuretic and carminative, it is a vermifuge as well. Colds and mumps can be treated with the decoction of this herb. You can make tea with dried marigold flowers. The petals can be dried at a low temperature and then dried at a low temperature by adding a tablespoon of dried flowers to boiled water before steeping the tea.
