HOW TO GERMINATE AQUILEGIA VIRIDIFLORA  SEEDS

Start preparing the soil by adding organic matter, such as compost or well-rotted manure. The soil should be light, well-draining, and slightly acidic, with a pH of around 6.0 to 7.0. Sow the seeds in the soil at a depth of approximately 2cm, or you can sprinkle the seeds. Make sure you space the seeds about 6 to 12 inches apart. Water gently to moisten the soil. Aquilegia Viridiflora seeds germinate best in cool temperatures between 55 to 65°F. They may take 3-4 weeks to grow. Keep the soil evenly moist during germination. Do not overwater, as it can cause the seeds to rot. Aquilegia Viridiflora prefers partial shade to full sun.

CARE FOR AQUILEGIA VIRIDIFLORA PLANTS AFTER GERMINATION

Once the seeds have germinated, water the plants regularly to keep the soil moist but not waterlogged. Use a balanced fertilizer once every two weeks during the growing season to encourage healthy growth. Continue providing the plants with at least 4 to 6 hours of sunlight daily. Prune back any dead or damaged leaves and flowers to promote new growth. Watch for pests such as aphids, slugs, and snails, and treat them with an appropriate pesticide or natural remedy. Mulch around the plants with organic matter to help conserve moisture and suppress weed growth.

Winter care: Aquilegia Viridiflora is hardy and does not need much protection during winter. However, you can add a layer of mulch to protect the roots and prevent frost damage.
